Freecad Part workbench tutorial. FreeCAD is a similar 3D CAD software to Solid Works, Catia, Solid Edge, Inventor... but it is free.
In this video tutorial, I demonstrated modeling using primitives (CSG - Constructive solid geometry) in the Part workbench. At the end of the tutorial, I showed how you can make a pocket in a 3D model in the form of text.
