Freedom in Action

This is a song I wrote to support our local radio station's talk show, "Freedom In Action." The host, Kelly Frost, Sr., creates a thoughtful forum for all to call in and discuss topics of local, regional, state, and National interest. I so appreciate the even-handed approach and respect he affords to all. Tolkien said, “The world is indeed full of peril, and in it there are many dark places; but still there is much that is fair, and though in all lands love is now mingled with grief, it grows perhaps the greater.” Kelly does a fantastic job of providing such a place, even as our world can seem so confusing. I try to avoid labels and think independently through every issue in our world today. (It turns out, most issues in our world are not waiting for me to weigh in to resolve, anyway, lol.) I tend to lean somewhat conservatively on most things as it turns out, but I hate the divisiveness which sourrounds us. While the song sits on my YouTube site to (hopefully) help it get noticed, this song belongs to Kelly Frost, Sr., with all rights and liberties assigned to him by me. So, anyway, Kelly is showing up every Saturday and doing something to spread the word and share thoughtful discourse, and, well, freedom isn't freedom unless it's, "Freedom In Action."
