Please welcome back Lauren Massimo, PhD, CRNP, Associate Professor and Co-Director of the FTD Center at the University of Pennsylvania, as she discusses Frontotemporal Degeneration (Frontotemporal Dementia) FTD. Lauren will proved an overview of FTD disorders, such as behavioral variant FTD and Primary Progressive Aphasias. She will discuss non-pharmacological strategies for managing behavioral symptoms, including but not limited to strategies to help with speech and language symptoms. Lauren will also discuss the psychosocial needs of persons with FTD and their caregivers.
