In this episode of the CyberGizmo I am revisiting Fuchsia OS version F4 released on December 9, 2021. Based on your feedback. I have added this second video. The video shows how to preflight, download, configure and compile Fuchsia and then I will take you a short tour of some of its unique features. A short story, I was woking on a prototype on my own to develop an edge based collector for our existing system, and when I showed version 1 a former Air Force Colonel said "This sucks where is the graphical user interface?" I tried to explain to him that GUI take more time than I was given, and I needed to get approval before proceeding any further. He said, get me graphics or its a no-go...So a few month later I put a GUI around it, and his only comment was...Wow.... If you are expecting to see a finished, polished and functional GUI with Fuchsia, not going to happen here. Fuchsia is in a development mode for the initial build out. But hey look on the bright side maybe you could do a few months of work and we will all go "Wow!". 00:00 - Intro 01:26 - Fuchsia PreFlight 03:33 - Configure Tunnel Tap 05:50 - Fuchsia Download 07:04 - Setup Linux Environment Variables 08:59 - Fuchsia Product and Board Configuration 10:15 - Fuchsia Build (compile) 10:29 - Fuchsia Emulator Start 11:12 - Fuchsia VDL Start 12:06 - Fuchsia Demo 24:51 - Fuchsia Final Thoughts Source Code Count from a GoLang app called scc Shows a total of 13,194,294 lines of source code (mostly Rust and C++) but there are other languages used including C, Dart, Go, Lisp, Perl, Prolog, Python, and even some Assembly to list a few of them (yeah there are more languages used than that) Support me on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/DJWare Follow me: Twitter @djware55 Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/don.ware.7758 Discord: https://discord.gg/hQcShnh Gitlab: https://gitlab.com/djware27 "Brightly Fancy" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0 "Militaire Electronic" Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com) Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 4.0 License http://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/ Werq by Kevin MacLeod Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/4616-werq License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license Industrial Cinematic by Kevin MacLeod Link: https://incompetech.filmmusic.io/song/3909-industrial-cinematic License: https://filmmusic.io/standard-license #android #chomeos #fuchsiaos
