Hi folks, so I made this trip way harder than it should have been, all because I thought I could save some time by trying alternative routes, as it turned out it ended up taking longer, it was a big mistake I should have stuck to the planned route in the first place. Here is what the official Fulham Palace website has to say about the house: The red brick Tudor courtyard and the great hall are the oldest parts of the surviving building, dating to around 1495. In the 1760s Bishop Terrick demolished the medieval chapel and redesigned parts of the house and a chapel in the fashionable Strawberry Hill Gothic style. This Gothic Revival was short lived, though. Around 50 years later Bishop Howley had the facades remodelled to their current Georgian style he was not a fan what he called ‘Gothic nonsense’.
