3D Sketch : https://www.3dmechanism.com/post/3d-exercise-109 Donate PayPal: https://www.paypal.com/donate/?hosted_button_id=2U2K7FGZNC7N8 In this CAD tutorial we'll use the features: 1. Extrude Definition: Creates the main solid body. How it works: You sketch a profile (like a circle) and pull it into a cylinder. Best for: Creating the main reservoir or tank. 2. Pipe Definition: Instantly creates a tube or rod along a sketch path. How it works: The Advantage: You do not need to draw a circle and "Sweep" it. You just draw a line (the path). The Action: Select the line, click Pipe, and Fusion builds the geometry around it. Operation: Set to Join to merge it with the Extruded body. Best for: Spouts, handles, and plumbing lines. 3. Fillet Definition: Rounds off sharp intersections. How it works: The "Weld": Where the round Pipe meets the flat Extruded wall, the joint is sharp. Adding a Fillet here creates a smooth transition. Crucial for Flow: If this is for liquid, a fillet helps fluid flow smoothly from the tank into the pipe. Best for: Blending separate bodies together. 4. Shell Definition: Hollows out the entire combined shape. How it works: The Workflow: You select the top face of the main body (the opening). The Result: Fusion removes the inside material of the Extruded block and tunnels down into the Piped spout, creating a continuous hollow volume. Best for: Turning a solid "sculpture" into a functional liquid container.
