Future-Proofing Container Port Supply Chains Using Simulation
Port Botany is the second largest container port in Australia. Port management wanted to assess infrastructure and operational changes by using simulation modeling. GHD expanded the existing rail strategy simulation model developed by NSW Ports. This enabled them to optimize rail operations and maximize rail capacity.
