Fuzz Testing the #ISO15118 Protocol Stack
Lecture by Tobias Schöneberger, Vector, at the 4th Vector #AutomotiveCybersecurity Symposium – a virtual event in October 2021. Information about the event and download of the lectures: https://www.vector.com/int/en/events/overview/automotive-cybersecurity-symposium/ The charging port is a new, externally accessible gateway for vehicle attacks, which requires systematic #RobustnessTests and #SecurityTests of the ISO15118 interface. The presentation displays how IP, TCP, TLS and EXI protocols can be tested automatically with the combination of #FuzzTest and security tests. In focus is the test of TLS handshake and #X509 certificates.
