This lecture and tutorial session is delivered by Jales Fonseca (a PhD Candidate at Texas A&M University) as part of our 2021 Reach & Teach Science in Africa Workshop (a hands-on plant molecular bio-lab training) taking place in our partnering institutions in Nigeria (Bayero University Kano), Ghana (CSIR-Crops Research Institute), and Kenya (Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology). To date, our world-class virtual and face-to-face scientific lectures and workshops (delivered by research experts from top world Universities) have reached thousands of early-career researchers in over 30+ nations in Africa and South Asia.
