Gallstones
In this video, we discuss gallstone disease as it applies to the USMLE STEP 2 exam. We discuss the progression of gallstones that lead to diagnoses such as cholelithiasis, biliary colic, acute cholecystitis, mirizzi syndrome, choledocholithiasis, gallstone pancreatitis, acute ascending cholangitis, gallstone ileus, and acalculous cholecystitis. We discuss the differentiation of the various diagnoses, pertinent findings, workup, diagnosis, and treatment.
