Game Theme Rumble 11

1. Gotham Plaza Ambush - Batman Returns Nice little 16-bit version of the theme of The Penguin. It was fun to beat up clowns to this fine tune. Classic and highly overlooked and overshadowed by the stage 1 music from both Batman (the movie license) and Return of the Joker. 2. Shadow Temple - Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time This one is pretty damn creepy. I mean even though Majora's Mask was darkest of the Zelda-games, it doesn't get any darker than this in the said franchise. A temple full of darkness, undead monsters and voices whispering about the bloody history of Hyrule...chilling. 3. Susano's Training - Okami Gotta love this guy. A hero-wannabe who has as much talent for fighting as a rock. The training bits are just hilarious, as Susano thinks his blade is possessed when Ammy uses his godly tricks to offer a paw to the poor guy. 4. SCUMM Bar - Secret of Monkey Island (SE) This is the bar where Guybrush heads to ask the pirates if he could join them. The pirates are far from the original types, I assure you. You can talk about Grog, about how you're NOT supposed to put your contact lenses on, and of course, ask about Loom. 5. Nyx - SMT: Persona 3 After the final battle, the scene where Nyx Avatar starts the Fall. This scene is very, very creepy, and the theme fits in perfectly. When I first saw this cut scene, I was speechless. To fight a boss that awesome only to find out your struggles have all been for nothing. 6. Blinded by Light - Final Fantasy 13 After the disappointment with FFX I haven't really cared what's new with the franchise...until I heard this battle theme. That got me to watch a trailer of the upcoming game, and even though I still have my doubts, I pre-ordered it. Looking good, and sounds even greater. And to think this is only the normal battle theme...can't even imagine what the final battle theme's gonna be like (I know the game is out in Japan and the soundtrack is available already, but I don't want to spoil myself with this one).
