We performed 3, back-to-back endurance tests with the Crossfire gasifier. We sustained a 2.6 kW load (easily), and only noticed some bogging at 3.1 kW, which probably could have been sustained as well.
This unit is solid. We never had a problem. Each test run was 3+ hours on the a mix of charcoal types (chips and pellets). With the upcoming hopper extension, 18-hour, continuous run-times will be possible.
We still need to run a few more final tests, but we'll be selling these gasifiers in April 2015. That modified Honda -- as well as others -- will be available as well.
