Feature is a general term used for physical portion of a part (such as a surface of a cube, outside surface of a shaft, surface of a hole or a slot) or its representation on drawings, models and digital data files.
Complex Feature is a single surface of compound curvature or a collection of features.
Interrupted Feature is one with a gap or gaps in a feature that divide it into two or more features.
