Gear quality inspection using image processing

In this example, we will test two gear images; one gear with complete 55 teeth, and other gear has two broken teeth. Our Algorithm will take gear image as input parameter and return the processed images and print out Failed or Passed indication on last image depending upon the total number of gear. If the total number of teeth is 55, part is considered “Passed”. Else, part is considered “Rejected”.
