This video is about GEM Remote Lower Override. This can be helpful if you need to lower the boat just a tiny bit past the predetermined lower limit setting. It can also be helpful in the event of a limit-switch malfunction to get a boat down before a storm etc. As always, it is critical to visually inspect all of the cables and structural components of a lift PRIOR to bypassing any preset stops. This feature should not be used with regularity, but rather as an "emergency" / periodic means to lower the lift beyond factory setting.
