Gemini CLI AI (not a chatbot) Creates RF Modulation Program
This video is about Google's gemini CLI AI agent creating a program that reads an audio wav file and modulates it using any of several radio modulations (like AM and FM) and creates an IQ data file suitable for transmission by a HackRF One using its hackrf_transfer application. The modulation program was created from an English language specification file and some subsequent prompts to fix problems. The gemini CLI is an agent, not a chat bot. It reads, creates, and modifies files (and runs commands) directly on your development computer. I created modulate using the gemini CLI to see how well it would work. It worked fairly well. The video shows the process and provides an example of using the gemini CLI as a more power alternative to chatbot vibe coding. It also made clear to me that further study of this AI tool might yield still better results.
