improv tribute to mr. hackman. 'the conversation' has always been one of my go-to 'sleep' movies. something about the score, sound-design, dialogue, and pacing just lulls me into a relaxed state. i can put it on loop and drift away, sometimes waking up briefly to the frequent tape noises or cindy williams' singing, which has always been memorable to me when thinking of this film. this is just something i put together in honor of gene, the character he created named harry caul who lives forever, and coppola's best movie...
