Genre Drift

Half-moon – Genre Drift started as a Dubstep idea, but somewhere along the way, things began to shift. After watching different styles and trying to recreate that energy, I moved toward Trap, then tried blending both into a hybrid. The vision kept changing, and so did the track. (´•_•`) At first, it felt like it was coming together, but slowly the sound started falling apart. Matching the style wasn’t working, the mix didn’t fix things the way I expected, and everything felt more confusing with each step. In the end, instead of chasing perfection, I finished it as it was.
