Genuinely dont understand

Context: none of the auras/weird things are seen from my friends pov its literally like im in an alternate realm. A friend and I have been slowly progressing through the game over time with mods. When i first tried to join this time however my game crashed twice and when i finally loaded in there were a bunch of weird things. Both me and my friend had the "haunted" condition Jaheira had the "infected" condition Shadowheart had the "ha ha ha" condition And other npcs had weird stuff on them. Also i was unable to do any action besides spawn a displacer beast (i did not choose this ability on wyll or anyone else). The displacer beast illusion i could spawn was completely engulfed by fire and had the "bonfire" condition. Sadly even after an app close and a long rest we came to the conclusion to scrap yet another modded run, although this honestly isnt too bad of a way to lose a run.
