Geometry - Perpendiculars and Distance

Join me as I show you how to calculate the distance between parallel lines on the coordinate plane by constructing a perpendicular line to the first line, calculating where the line intersects the second line by solving the system of equations, and then using the distance formula or Pythagorean Theorem to find the length of the segment.
