This video was originally developed for a class on close-range remote sensing and serves to inform the viewer on how to use the Geomorphic Change Detection toolset, developed by the Riverscapes Consortium (http://gcd.riverscapes.xyz/), to produce a statistically significant digital elevation model of difference (DoD). The team at the Riverscapes Consortium are doing really great and impactful work. They have also been really helpful whenever I have had questions. Furthermore, their help and tutorial sections (found in the link provided above) are incredibly informative and helpful and go into much greater detail than I could achieve with this video. Please note that I have no affiliations with the Riverscapes Consortium team and have produced this video to help students and researchers run this great tool. Helpful papers include: Bangen, S.
