Getting Back Into Morse Code
This video reflects my journey back into Morse code and contains some hints & tips you may also find useful. There’s also a real QSO (only my fifth ever!) at the end of the video, with commentary to explain what’s happening and being said. My last attempt at Morse was in 1985 when I passed my test at 12wpm. I didn’t take it up and I also left the hobby a few years later and have since been off the air for 30+ years. I still had my Hi Mound HK-707 key in the loft, so decided to bring it out of retirement and make an attempt at re-learning Morse code. This video might be of use and hopefully be all you need to spur yourself on 👍🏻 The website shown is: https://mitxela.com/projects/morse_code_practice_tool Correction at 12:03. The date of the QSO should have been 5th May, not April...I’ve lost track of the months! 😮 This is one of many amateur/ham radio related videos on this channel.
