This GibbsCAM Tech Tip shows you how to use operation data to create different tool offsets for features machined by a single tool to give you more control over close tolerance features at the machine. If you have a part with multiple close tolerance features, sometimes adjusting cutter comp offsets of one feature may tweak another feature out of tolerance. Learn how to assign cutter comp offsets and tool length offsets to different features using the same tool, giving you more control over the size and/or depth of individual features at the machine on close tolerance parts.
