The Omega Red Dot Sight from Gideon Optics is, in a word, big. In this video, it's mounted on a large handgun, the Canik Rival. The Gideon Optics Omega has an extra-large field of view, 22.3mm x 27mm, for a wide sight picture.
Rob Pincus believes the best use of the Omega is for competition, where the larger the field of view is, the better. However, the Omega could also be mounted on a home-defense handgun or PDW.
