The Gig Ready Project was a Mack Events Project funded by Plans for Neighbourhoods and run in partnership with Bro Radio. Taking a group of young, local performers, and giving them some basic training in stage presence and performing, using music tech equipment, the music business, how to create an electronic promo pack and who to contact to get gigs, invoicing and basic bookkeeping. The goal is to turn their hobby into a viable paid career in music.
