We stop off for a couple of days at a family farm in Gilgandra. The kids loved helping with the pigs, cows and sheep, collecting eggs, harvesting honey, riding the tractor and having bonfires. We spend a day at Dubbo Western Plains Zoo and get a special behind the scenes look at the breeding program for the Regent Honeyeater.
