I built a rig with git-up git 2 pro action cameras as an alternative to the 6 x gopro rigs. As you can see I used a freedom 360 rig I borrowed. They fitted- almost-hence the rubber bands.
You can see 2 shots, quickly and roughly stitched in Kolor autopano. I graded the second shot just slightly.
The results are not too bad, but you really need even exposure, or try to manually control the exposure so to get better blending results.
Price/camera from 132-218 $CA, cheaper then a GoPro for sure.
