Ritual (Bandcamp Exclusive) Glaskin come with a rapid response to the storming debut on their own imprint, YAEL Trip, with another pulsating and robust take of unconventional techno. ‘KYŌDAI’ features 3 brand new originals and a re-work of ‘Structure’ (from their 2017 debut on Hotflush) by techno stalwart Marcel Fengler. Relentless, introspective, and occasionally eerie, this EP showcases the Blitz Club residents' evolving sound but also retains elements that have become touchstones of previous Glaskin releases. ‘Pulse B’ subtly references elements of UK electronics, with it’s jungle-tinged percussion and lead synth that nods to classic-era Grime. 'K10D41' and 'Ritual' (exclusive to the Bandcamp platform) are rugged 4/4 excursions that offer pulsing rhthyms with little or no respite for those peak-time dance floor moments. Marcel Fengler's rework of 'Structure', meanwhile, stays true to that seminal producer's singular take on the genre.
