Glitch In the Artwork

To celebrate the launch of my new book' The Acrylics Companion', published by Search Press and released this Dec 24, I've made a few videos showcasing some of the exercises featured in the book. This exercise creates a glitch in the painting making it look contemporary with an abstract quality. Paint a simple object as you see it, use horizontal or vertical brush marks at the end to add the glitch. These should be sporadic, very in length and width. This creates broken edges or a sense of broken transmission adding a contemporary twist to the artwork.
