I layered several percussion, ukulele, and metallophone tracks for an improvisational performance. Adding chords with the KORG microSAMPLER keyboard, I ensured that the keyboard and the spark shaker hit at the end of the song were not looped. While Glo boasts a built-in microphone, I connected a condenser microphone to Glo's input via a mixer, enabling me to mute it when I didn't want to capture sound. Glo's infinite looper behaves differently from conventional loopers, and despite experimenting beforehand, I found that the looped sounds varied each time. While mastering its usage presents challenges, it offers a unique and unpredictable charm. The song takes on a chaotic ambiance as multiple instruments layer, and then the keyboard melody breaks through, almost as if clearing a path.
