God's Saving Grace Podcast

Grace is God’s loving initiative—He shines light into darkness and offers a relationship we did not earn. Like Cain, we can be tempted to offer substitutes (effort, sacrifice, religious activity) instead of the obedience and repentance that restore relationship and connection with God. Conviction is described as mercy: a loving interruption that calls us back into alignment before sin overtakes us. Grace also entrusts us with “treasure”—the Spirit and the knowledge of God—so we can abide in Christ and live out our calling with humility and divine help. Lord, thank You for Your saving grace that shines Your light into my darkness. Give me a soft heart that welcomes conviction and responds with repentance and obedience. Help me abide in Christ, guard the treasure You have entrusted to me, and walk humbly in the purpose You have given. Amen.
