additional things to consider:
-backdash brc is rps
-one drawback of doing this over other oki is that it's a consistent ibfd timing for the other player (whereas you could threaten drone or highs and lows to mess with that otherwise)
-the situation can sometimes loop if you get cs on hit into kara 684 on crossup, as this knockdown sets up the same thing pretty perfectly (or cs 2d 684 on same side)
-a turn with a bt meaty will generally build you much more meter safely
-he also has safejabs to discourage dps on grounded oki
