Google Alerts RSS feed trick
How to use Google Alerts to create an RSS feed. This is great for if you have a press release coming out soon, and want to automate setting up backlinks to the different sites where your PR appears. You can put this RSS feed into something like OnlyWire or another syndication tool that accepts RSS feeds as input and get the links pumping. Or, add to an autoblog tool in a WordPress site (or similar) and get an automated news headlines feed. NOTE (thanks heaps to Sue Xiang!): If you are not seeing the RSS function in alerts, try this: Here's the solution to the lack of the RSS option. Next to "my alerts" there's a cog (settings) - in that dialogue box you will find "time of delivery" and "digest". Untick digest and that will enable RSS feed to be displayed. Took some time to figure this out , but success was at hand ...
