Google Meet Polls are a great way to engage students during a live distance learning session. You can create a poll prior to students attending or create them on the fly. This is a great way to engage students in relevant discussion as you can make the results of the poll visible for all participants when they click on their own activities icon. Teachers also have the option of not revealing the results if they would like to create a quiz or use a single question as an exit ticket.
After the session is over, the teacher receives an email with a spreadsheet of results. The first spreadsheet gives an overview of every poll question. Separate sheets are built into the bottom tabs to delve deeper into each poll.
