This lesson covers how to create "Dependent Drop Down Lists" in Google Sheets. In the example we have 3 tables containing different categories of furniture items and their prices. The categories are Bedroom, Living Room and Office Furniture. The objective is to create one "Main or Driving Drop Down List" that contains these 3 categories. In addition we want to create a 2nd and "Dependent Drop Down List" that displays the individual furniture items related to each category in the 1st list. This is done through the use of "Data Validation" , "Named Ranges" and the "Indirect Function."
