Here we go again with another potential shutdown. What sets this one apart is that it will significantly impact federal workers. Unlike previous shutdowns, this time there will be no more furloughs; instead, government services will be permanently removed. The driving force behind this decision is ego, and if you delve deeper, it’s all about intimidation. It’s easy to make cutthroat decisions when you don’t personally feel the consequences. I sincerely hope that we avoid a full shutdown and that both parties are willing to set aside their differences for the well-being of the American people.
