Graphic Objects

The Drawing feature in Google Docs allows you to visually enhance your document with features such as Word art, shapes, images, and text boxes. Using creativity and the right tools, there is no end to the well-designed documents you can create: flyers, posters, handouts, flowcharts, Venn diagrams, and more. Additionally, in the Page setup dialog box, you can change margins, page size, and layout orientation to further improve the overall look of your document. In this video, you will learn how to change page orientation and page margins, as well set a new background color for the page. You will also get introduced to the drawing tool which allows you to create graphic objects such as shapes, word art, text boxes, and more. This video was created in relation to the Utah State CTE standards for the Business Office Specialist High School course. Specifically, this video prepares students to complete Strand 1, Standard 3: Customize graphic objects within a document, as well as Strand 1, Standard 7: Format and customize page layout options within a document.
