Starting from a referenced SubD geometry, this script generates a lower and upper grid shell system, timber members, interconnecting rods, edge elements, and an external skin, all organised as discrete components that can be baked and rendered individually. The workflow is designed so you can reference in your own geometry, control grid spacing, timber member width and depth, connection rod thickness, edge offsets, and skin thickness — allowing you to quickly explore structurally expressive grid shell systems and fabrication-aware architectural forms directly inside Rhino and Grasshopper.
