Greenhouse Electricity

We had to go about 72' between our home and the greenhouse. We laid pvc pipe 1.25" in the trench to hold the electrical wiring and fished through 4 #6 gauge electrical wires, 2 hots, 1 neutral and 1 ground, for a total of 50 amps. This is a lot more than we need but my husband likes to go for the overkill lol. Next we laid pvc piping 1", for a water line. Fished through a separate PEX pipe. Next came PVC .5", for a CAT 5 wifi cable. We had the opportunity to purchase the spool of cable for $5. While we had the trench and the opportunity, we thought why not lol. The worst part of doing this project was getting it through the 4" pipe that goes through the block and up into the greenhouse. We also had to bust through block and brick at the house to go under the house to be hooked up to the electricity and water. A licensed electrician will be doing all the connections.
