Bell the Cat Broadcast presents Greg Freeman and his band, performing their song "Palms" - the final track of their debut album, "I Looked Out." Recorded live in one take at Future Fields Studios in Burlington, Vermont, this third of three songs with the Greg Freeman Band is an exhilarating wave of crunchy indie rock, featuring Lily Seabird on bass, Scott Maynard on drums, Ben Rodgers on pedal steel and tiny piano, Billy Weaver on tenor saxophone, and Sam Atallah on trumpet. This band is going places - Greg's songs are captivating and warm, but still have a certain roughness that leaves space for emotion and grit in the music.
