Groundwaves 2023 kicks off on AUGUST 8 with a hip hop open mic at the Music District + applications for Groundwaves Sessions going live. Part recording intensive and part mentorship program, GROUNDWAVES SESSIONS brought MCs from across Colorado together with legendary west coast rapper @MursTv and prolific producer @CurtissKingTV to create and record tracks on-site at the Music District. ⚡️2022 Groundwaves Sessions Artists⚡️ Ananda Rose BBMC Blak Tha Map Greybeard Just Emcee Luke Skyy Mitchell James Nick Sanville Rev. da IV Schama Noel Acting as mentor and coach, Murs will work directly with selected artists on their tracks, including pre and post-production, beat selection, songwriting and lyrics, and in-person recording with Curtiss King. Groundwaves Sessions is free to participate in and is open to any Colorado MC who is serious about their music, wants to work with mentors and peers in the hip-hop community, and is ready to level up their writing, collaboration, and production skills.
