Grow

One of my earlier song that I often performed but never got a chance to record "properly" and upload somewhere. Grow is an internal dialog about learning. It speaks of how the only constant in an ever-evolving universe is change itself. However, instead of making us feel small and insignificant, the endless possibility of change also means endless potential to grow, to create, to experience the infinite facets of reality. The lyrics contains many references to natural sciences, such as the evolution of species, the formation of the universe and the dead of the sun. The lyrics also refers to Buddhist concepts, such as sunyata (emptiness) and anatta (no-self), which are sometimes superficially misunderstood as self-denial and nihilistic, but which are in truth, liberating and empowering.
