Just to start, changing the #gtube is so much easier when you have all of your supplies on hand and prepared before you start 🤣 Otherwise the gtube change isn’t as intense as a trach change.
Forgot to mention-
Like most stomas, if the gtube comes out, you want to replace it quickly to avoid it closing. Ask your GI doctor or surgeon for a Foley catheter to have on hand just in case.
