Guitar Building Workshop, STEM Education, Live Coverage 1

An intense, fun five day guitar design/build project implemented by the National Resource Center for Materials Education at Edmonds Community College. Each participant builds their own custom electric guitar and will engage in student centered learning activities that relate the guitar design to specific math, science and engineering topics. The workshop is a platform to engage teachers/instructors to curriculum modules that can be immediately integrated into the faculty teams school curriculum to enhance the education of middle school and high school students within science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) through a passionate topic of guitars.
