As I promised in my underwhelming first boot video, here's a quick runaround the system, with some benchmarks. I'd had the idea for how this video would go a ways back - just a system tour to music, admittedly, but I wanted to use Guru Guru Gravity by Nori Horikoshi, and time the video to fit. Thing is, how do you show off your Hac within five minutes and change? You rattle off benchmarks and start up some apps, is how. There's no editing here, aside from the necessary to get transitions working. Everything is real-time. The benchmarks aren't even that far off from normal, which isn't bad considering ScreenFlow was recording 1080p at the time. In fact, on my first take, I took too little footage, so I needed to record another 40-odd seconds - hence the transition at 4:29. The only problem with Tsuruya, it seems, is the sorry sack of mostly water driving her. And yes, Angry Birds does work. Recorded with ScreenFlow. Post-production and upload from iMovie '11 on UMS Tsunami-I 11E Mega Neko (Mac Mode).
