Sooooo, another Kenshin vid from me FINALLY. I can't begin to describe how happy I am to be able to upload this! I started it this weekend because Lori's birthday is this week so my yearly Kenshin obsession came around at the perfect time ;D ps. i'm better with manga than anime just sayin'. ABOUT THE VID: The fact that it's RK has to be the only reason I finished this so quickly..... hahah I've wanted to make a video concerning Kenshin, Kaoru, and Tomoe for a while (or since my first MMV because we all know that that one was just terrible) and I hope Lori approves! I wanted to portray his feelings towards both women as well as past love vs. finding new happiness. I tried to show it by making his memories of Tomoe monochrome and his moments with Kaoru just full of color. I named it halcyon because of his want for a peaceful life in the present as well as the peaceful life he wanted to accomplish 15 years prior as a patriot. With that said, I LOVE this song. It's so beautiful and haunting. I ALSO HAD A CHANCE TO USE THE NEW MANGA SO I WAS HAPPY. More Kenshin vids coming up including more MMVs and AMVs:) In conclusion, KenKao ftw. TO LORI: Alrighty beb, here it is. All my love to you in the form of a half-assed vid but I'm still proud of it. You're one of my closest friends and it all started when you sent me that one Kenshin fanfic and I started reading until 5 am. Good times, man. You've always been so supportive to me and every time we talk I always feel so comfortable (probably because we mostly fangirl about RK) You've always been an inspiration to me with your amazing editing skills and I watch all of your videos so often that I could probably name them in order... Ahem, I've known you since maybe 2008 or 2009 so it might not have been too long but we've definitely grown both as editors and friends! I'm so proud to call you my friend and I hope we stay this close for many years to come!
