Half Kneeling Sit Backs are a great way to improve hip stability and glute strength as well as quad strength. The movement is inspired by the concepts of Dynamic Neuromuscular Stabilization (DNS). To perform: 1. Go into a half kneeling position with the down side knee being the side you are targeting 2. Rotate your torso/pelvis away (to the left if the right knee is down) 3. Sit back in an oblique fashion 4. Try to actively push your foot and knee into the ground as you lower down 5. Use a counter or TRX system for balance The key to the exercise is to go slow and controlled. Try to not "hunch" forward but rather keep your spine upright. You should feel this in the glute and quad. This works great as a dynamic warmup! - - - - Thank you for tuning in to our channel!
