This video is fixed maps of the Nova-Prospekt chapter from the pre-release version of Half-Life 2. You can see how the prison chapter looked during March of 2003 - the last time the VMFs were modified.
The original maps had a .bsp version unsupported by the HL2 Beta's engine, and could not run because of it.
Almost no changes have been made to these maps, when compared to the originals. Only the corrupted scripts and doors were fixed and autosaves were added.
