My reason for this project...
Donald Carson Sr. was my Grandfather. In 1974,
I was 2 years old, my parents divorced and he
and my Grandmother took me in and raised
me as their own. Everything that I had learned
growing up came from him. He taught me how
to play the guitar and how to appreciate music.
I love and miss him so much that I decided to
have a case crafted for his guitar to protect it so
it can be passed down in generations without
it getting damaged. I realize that a coffin
shaped case will offend some people but that
was truly not my intentions. It was just a
symbolic gesture of laying his guitar to rest.
Grampy, I think about you and miss you
everyday still. When I need advice I ask you and
I feel like you still give me the guidance I need.
You are my Hero!
