Harper is Getting Better
Harper is a privacy first, offline grammar checker you can run locally in Neovim through harper-ls, the Language Server Protocol integration. In this video I demo how it behaves in real writing (including the weird edge cases), whether you should keep Neovim’s built in spell checker enabled, how Harper dictionaries work, and how to apply fast fixes across a file. Harper is designed to run on device and avoid generative AI, so your text stays local while you still get instant grammar and spelling feedback. It's available for: Obsidian, Chrome Extension, Firefox Extension, WordPress, Language Server, Visual Studio Code, Neovim, Helix, Emacs, Zed, Sublime Text.
